Terms and Conditions

Version of 12 March 2026 — The French version shall prevail.

Art. 1 — Subject and Scope

These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "T&C") govern access to and use of the DailyBudget.ch service, accessible at https://dailybudget.ch (hereinafter "the Service"). Any registration to the Service constitutes full acceptance of these T&C.

Art. 2 — Parties

The Service is operated by Vincent CLAIVAZ, domiciled at Av. du Mont-d'Or 13, 1007 Lausanne, Switzerland (hereinafter "the Operator").
The User means any adult natural person who has created an account on the Service.

Art. 3 — Description of the Service

DailyBudget.ch is an online personal budget management tool. The Service is provided "as-is", without any guarantee of financial results. The Operator is not a financial or tax adviser.

Art. 4 — Plans and Pricing

• Free Plan: access to a trial period of up to 31 days, with no commitment and no credit card required.
• Premium Plan: full access to the Service (unlimited periods, interactive charts, CSV export, custom categories) at 28 CHF incl. VAT per year. Payments in EUR and USD are available via Stripe Adaptive Pricing.

Art. 5 — Payment and Renewal

Payment is processed exclusively by Stripe Inc. The Premium subscription is for a one-year term and renews automatically on the anniversary date, at the current rate, unless previously cancelled. The User receives an email notification before each renewal.

Art. 6 — Cancellation and Account Deletion

The User may cancel their subscription at any time, without penalty, via the Stripe billing portal accessible from the app (Settings → Subscription → Manage my subscription). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual period.

Subscription cancellation and account deletion are two distinct actions. The User may permanently delete their account and all their data from the app: My info → Danger zone → Delete my account. This deletion is immediate and irreversible (see Privacy Policy). Cancellation alone, without account deletion, retains data until explicit deletion by the User.

Art. 7 — Refund Policy

• No refund is granted for subscription periods already started.
• Single exception: in case of a serious, documented malfunction attributable to the Service and unresolved within 14 calendar days of written notice to dailybudget{at}clebs.ch, a pro-rata refund may be granted at the Operator's sole discretion.
• The Free Plan gives no right to any refund.

Art. 8 — Availability and Maintenance

The Operator endeavours to maintain the Service available 99% of the time on a rolling monthly basis. Brief interruptions for maintenance may occur without giving rise to any refund.

Art. 9 — Liability

The Operator's liability is limited to proven direct damages, up to the total amount paid by the User in the preceding 12 months. Any liability for indirect damages is excluded to the extent permitted by Swiss law.

Art. 10 — Intellectual Property

All elements of the Service are the exclusive property of the Operator. The User's budget data remains their exclusive property. The Operator claims no rights thereto.

Art. 11 — Amendments to T&C

The Operator reserves the right to amend these T&C at any time. The User will be informed by email at least 30 days before the new conditions take effect.

Art. 12 — Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These T&C are governed exclusively by Swiss law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lausanne. For Users domiciled in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence remain reserved.

Before any legal action, the parties undertake to attempt amicable resolution by contacting the Operator at dailybudget{at}clebs.ch.
